Clevy's unique keyboard comes with a DANISH key set. The educational development keyboard from Clevy is award-winning for its unique design and solidity. The Clevy keyboard is designed for children and adults with special needs (such as the visually impaired, people with writing difficulties such as dyslexia or people with motor function difficulties).
Clevy is a mechanical keyboard that has internal steel frames and each individual key is mounted on a high-quality mechanical switch that can handle over 60 million keystrokes. Mechanical keyboards offer more sound and tactile feedback than membrane keyboards.
Color coding:
The bright colors make this keyboard attractive to work with, but most importantly, the color coding helps children and adults by clearly distinguishing the functional areas of the keyboard. Numbers have one color (red), letters have a second color (blue) and action keys such as Enter, DEL etc have a third color (green).
Large keys:
The keys are four times larger than those on a standard keyboard. In addition, the symbols on the keys are enlarged to make it easier to identify the different letters and numbers.
Reduced number of keys:
The number of keys on the Clevy keyboard is significantly less than that of a standard keyboard. The keys that are rarely used (like F1-F12, PrtSc etc) are removed so that you can focus on the ones that are important for typing etc. However, they can be found as soft keys on the PC if needed.
Built-in liquid protection against spills
Clevy has a built-in liquid protection that allows spills on the keyboard to drain out through holes in the bottom of the keyboard. All keys have an elevated "rampart" to prevent spills from running down to the sensitive electronics inside the keyboard itself. This also means that Clevy keyboards are significantly easier to clean than conventional keyboards and can also work in hospitals, VCs etc.
Solid construction:
Clevy keyboard is 100 times stronger than a regular keyboard. This allows it to withstand much tougher treatment and is therefore very suitable for children, school or institutional use.
The keyboard is PC/MAC/IPad compatible.
